Great study, Michael!! Inspirational! How easy is it for each one of us to ‘take up our cross and follow after Christ’? Because greater love has no man than that he gives up his life for his friend. Although we may not physically die for our friend in this life on earth, what other way could we do that? We are called to love our enemies and those that despitefully use us, and to pray for them. Also, it is said that our enemies are those of our own household. We DO need to seriously consider and implement dying to self so that we may live in Christ, to Christ, for God. I may THINK I have what it takes, but I will pray for His Spirit to dwell in me richly to guide and compel me to obey Him in all things to accomplish what His will is to glorify His name …. again. And I thank God for His faithfulness in raising up spiritual leaders for our necessity!
